The thistle itself is delicately machine embroidered with shading and details. The sequin are added by hand one by one by hand to create a subtle shimmer to the design.

The inside of the beret is sealed with a small layer of fabric to cover the back side of the stitching. 
It is a 100% wool beret and the main beret is not made by myself but sourced from reputable millinery suppliers.
This item is made to last, however due to the wool material it is recommended that you hand wash gently (do not machine wash).
